Cuckoos here usually range anywhere around and about the fields off the length of Rindle Road, with the fields and telegraph wires along Nook Lane a favourite and the fields at the top of the feeding station. Of course just listening in for their call and then homing in is the best option.
thanks for that Ian will use the guides to get me to where we need to be. Still would love to know where it has been heard/sighted if anyone has more info. The spoonbill and red rumped swallow at inner marsh are also on his/my to see list as is a trip to pennington flash so it may turn out to be a long day!

I have the day off on weds and its Brandons last day off school so he wants to go looking for the cuckoos in Rindle woods. Having never been before we would love some advice on where to park and where to see this elusive bird (elusive for us anyhow, almost as elusive as waxwings) any help apperciated.
