The flock is now over 200 in Heaton Park. This must be a spring stop over point as this seems to happen every end of Feb for last few years.

Numbers have increased in Heaton Park too this weekend with a flock of 160+ now present

110+ roosted in Skitters Wood, Ashton-in-Makerfield last night, which is more than I usually see

Big flock of Redwings 30+ just passed through my garden. Diving in the pond, investigating piles of dead leaves and perching up on every available branch.

First ones I've seen for several years in Withington.
