Manderin had been joined by a female this afternoon, very skittish, left canal and landed on pond in woods on northerly side of canal. One of mute swans chasing pair of Canada geese out of water. had a dipper on stream in lower plantations and 2 tree sparrows on pendlebury lane smile.gif

One male Mandarin, with 18 Mallards and two Mute Swans in the old Rowing Club basin on the Canal, near Hall Lane Lodge, Haigh, this a.m.
