Thanks Ian been having a look in various books since and I think a Hobby is
more likely. Still a lifer for me though.

Driving to Guilford Wednesday 9th had 21 Red kites over the motorway

also 4 Buzzards but only 1 Kestrel. Had a quick view of a small hawk

with distinctive red patches under the tail could this have been a Red

Footed Falcon would welcome some views from members.
