At this time of year Barn Owls will move further away from breeding territories (up to 4km on average I think) Oggie and they will stay there for now at least if there is a good supply of food i'd imagine.

I work until 9.45pm and the last 2 Wednesdays I have seen a barn owl on the A6 near the Georgian House Hotel {Jarvis} - is it normal for them to be in the same place, same time on consecutive weeks?

Do they have a set area in which they fly each night?
