male wheatear in the large plough south of moss lane early this morning and also 2 little owls showing well.
Very quiet at Hope carr single curlew over north and still good numbers of gadwall (62 minimum)
As i arrived home could hear whooper swan distantly afetr a while 20 appearred going north just before 9.30 followed closely by another 28. They were pretty high up but still easily audible.
Hopefully spring is here now but the weather forecast suggests otherwise!!:
