1st time out birding in 5 weeks !!, so i have decided om gonna dedicate some time to what is within walking distance from my house.
Had a nice stroll through all the above mentioned areas not much to be seen out of the ordinary but wanted to get a feel for the area. Most notable was a dipper on the river medlock just past the pump house at rocher vale, also in the same spot a kestrel sat sheltering on the rocks from the wind. had all the usual woodland birds but im sure it is a sight of muh promis that i will srat to watch alot oer the next few months.
