1230hrs 1-Black necked grebe still on the reservoir also 1-Common tern and 1-Common sandpiper. 1-Grasshopper warbler reeling in the fields on the west side of the reservoir.

Whinchat in the north fields by the manure heap though distant this evening. Black-necked Grebe still present, 2 White Wagtails, 2 Common Sandpipers.

Misidentified due to mist at the time of the observation. The bird was indeed the Slavonian Grebe it seems!

9 adult Whopper Swans flew WNW at 11:40 yesterday. Also present were 88 Greylag Geese and 6 Goldeneye.
