Late news for yesterday when a Red Kite was slowly drifting west at 09:33am then circled high above Montcliffe and appeared to head off south at 09:40am.

Yesterday evening 2CY Mediterranean Gull feeding plus two Arctic Tern from 8:20pm but had departed by 8:40

A Hobby flew low in from the east over the reservoir at 6:10pm and off to the SW and the Black-necked Grebe was still present.

1230hrs 1-Black necked grebe still on the reservoir also 1-Common tern and 1-Common sandpiper. 1-Grasshopper warbler reeling in the fields on the west side of the reservoir.

Misidentified due to mist at the time of the observation. The bird was indeed the Slavonian Grebe it seems!
