My 2 hour surveys today and yesterday revealed 7 Water Rails (+ 1 showing well at Low Hall and 1 calling at Amberswood Lake on the "island" at the S end), 6 Wigeon, Buzzard, Little Owl at New Bear Hey Farm (always difficult to see here but present for years), 34 Pochard, 33 Tufties, 11 Shoveler and 63 Teal, plus the usual commoner stuff.
