Had one of the best mornings birding at my old local patch - Otley Wetlands near Bradford west yorks this morning. Would have scored some serious points if it had been in manchester!!
Star bird - Great Grey Shrike. Craking bird been present on the boating lake island since tuesday.
Co-stars - Single Red Kite, Whooper Swan, Pintail and a calling Grey Plover west. All craking birds for this old gravel works in the pennines!
The extra's Swallow, Skylark, Loads of Siskin, Redwing and Blackbirds, Redpoll, 10 Wigeon, Pochard 2 Curlew and a Golden Plover!
