ian an all,not cheating but i would like to compliment the comp on increasing my observation skill,s, i,ve recently added long eared owl to my gm list/life only because i spotted the wing pattern and confirmed it with books when i got home,so let,s have some more blockers
As for not entering due to missing the early months it really doesn't matter, it's never too late! You might not be in the running for the prize but you'll certainly enjoy the competition, remember, it's not the winning that's important it the taking part.....
There are certainly 9 species in the image (8 'easy'...yeah, right!), if you can find any others that I didn't you deserve some extra points atleast
Sorry, just 8. Although I don't enter this competition (discovered this site after the comp. had started) I'm intrigued by this hidden bird, I'll keep looking.
I always print them off so i can sit with my field guides and make notes with little arrows and everything Not that i'm taking it seriously or anything
craig, simon, henry,it,s not like i,m taking it serious ,but if like me me you can,t gaze at a puter untill your at home why not try taking a picture of the screen and study at work(lunch breaks only) not that i would and after all it,s only for fun, cheers geoff
Ian are you absolutely sure its 8 species and not 7. I can see seven species but then the last one is eluding me. I think I've found the one we're not supposed to be able to find, but then it could just be one of the 8 if you get my meaning. If it is, I've no chance of finding the other cause this ones a crippler itself.
Hats off to you Ian - this one should be really interesting.
