Seems like they were known as whitehead and more recently as Lowercroft Lodges/Res (big fishing sign that says Lowercroft) - seems like one of those places that has 2 names
I used to go fishing there when I was a lad and it was always known as Whiteheads then as it belonged to Whitehead's Mill. Maybe since the demise of the mill, the name has reverted to the area. Just a thought.

Nay lad, surely you`re not deserting Rumworth are you ? Just out of interest Simon, why are they called Whitehead Res ? (presuming they`re the one`s to the west of Lowercroft Rd in the A-Z, I can`t find any reference to Whitehead). Might take a peep some day.
Thanks Simon. Sounds like the right area, Tottington rings a bell. Used to with a mate and his dad so was never sure excactly where it was. I'l get on google maps.
