Black Headed Gulls at Belmont Res.

Yes it is in Lancashire its part of Blackburn and Darwen.

Also reading Atlas of breeding birds of Lancashire and North Merseyside 1997-2000 (a highly recommended book) it had the highest number of recorded species with 90! beating the likes of Leighton Moss, Martin Mere. Just thought I would share that with folk

Hi,

Does anyone know if Belmont Reservoir is in the county or is it in Lancashire, perhaps just on the border?

Read the colour rings of two Black Headed Gulls and one colour ring of a Mediterranean gull.
