Chat Moss 13/05

My first ever visit to the Mosses on Sunday morning.

2 Red-legged Partidges in field with horses off Rindle Road
Corn Bunting at field 59

The following at field 63:

Yellowhammer
Corn Bunting
Cuckoo - heard calling and then flew over while I was trying to photograph the Yellowhammer
5 Stock Doves
Wheatear
Buzzard over

Very enjoyable morning - will have to go there more often!

Hi Ian
A bit quiet on the moss this afternoon as the rain came down , just a Sparrowhawk and 2 Buzzards flying over f19 and f18. I went looking for the whimbrels but could not find them.

It was nice to meet you Ian and this is an excellent web site.smile.gif
