Sorry guys, the option to send/recieve private messages wasn't turned on for the forum, mainly due to the fact that I hadn't realise I even had it as the host site for the forum keep giving me free add-ons but not letting me know when they do. Anyway, private messaging is now switched on and should work but I have no idea how, press afew buttons and see what happens confused.gif

Lesser Whitethroat:
Just to be more precise it was actually past the farm and under the bridge and 100 yards (i know a lot of birders are old timers so I won't use metres) down the canal.

Also how can I forget a big Muscovy befriened me at the bridge.

Also a fisherman I was talking to said Otters have been seen in the area, Is this true?

Saw a rat aswell.

It would be great if you could send as a pic of the godwits Geoff. Never seen them in Gt Manchester so it was a nice to see them local.

Yes, that is Dover Basin. And you were right for the Lesser Whitethroat too - glad it was still singing.
