16 Twite in the area - picking them up by call all over the place now. 1 Wheatear below Cows Mouth Quarry + a rabbit ( first mammal I`ve ever seen up here) 6 Canada Geese, 1 male Goldeneye and 1 Curlew on Warland Res. 1 Curlew on Chelburn Moor.
Big Moorland fire over the last couple of days - basically all Byron Edge and Light Hazzles Edge is burnt. 3 Fire engines still there today(The burnt area comprises one of my BBS squares)
