This morning 3 Ring Ouzel in the horse fields at the bottom of Mast Road and another moving around the compounds off Mast Road. Also, a total of 30 Wheatear.
Sightings around Scout Road this morning included 60 Curlew, with two flocks of 14 and 7 through north and then 39 dropping in to fields by the Wilton Arms pub. Also 26 Greylag Geese feeding in fields below Scout Road.
An hour at Scout Road/Horrocks Wood this morning produced a Merlin flying low west and a Ring-Necked Parakeet which was the biggest shock for us! Plenty finches, including Siskins, and about 100 each of Redwing and Fieldfare. Nice to meet two birders - not sure of your names!
