Hi Paul,

First of all look in the A-Z to see where Horwich is. You then need George`s Lane. Past the quarries on your right, turn right where the houses begin onto Mast Road. Park in the layby just before the cattle grid. Walk up the road to a gate on your right with signpost to Walker Fold. All this area is `Smithills Moor`. Stick to the paths, especially when it`s full moon !

6 Red Grouse - Smithills Moor - conveniently flushed by dog walker ( they do come in handy sometimes ! )
