The original Bushnell Spacemaster 2, 60mm Objective and a 20-50x zoom eyepiece I bought this a couple of years ago to take with me on longer walks instead of lugging my main scope, but I just haven't used it at all. Its obviously got signs of use - scratches to the bodywork and a bit of a dent on the objectiv...
Winged eyecups and rainguard for Swarovski Binoculars. Ive had them on a pair of 8.5x42 EL Swarovisions but presumably they will fit other Swaro bins. They have had hardly any use as I only used them very briefly as I just didn't get on with them. £14 ono plus P&P which is £2.80.
An article on MSN News quotes a number of MPs as wanting a cull on gulls in towns that are attacking children , pensioners etc. Nothing particularly new about that except for the following - SNP MP Kirsty Blackman (Aberdeen North) said her constituency is home to giant seagulls that can terrorise the c...

A number of bird flu cases has now been confirmed in the UK, including within Lancashire and as such birders should be highly vigilant when out and about to any suspected cases they may come across. I just saw a bird in the hospice gardens. Looked exactly like a ring Ouzel: blackbird sized and white collar. It was sat in a tree but flew off before I could try to get a photo. Is there any history of seeing them round these parts at this time of year? I've never seen one before but the white collar looked ju...
