Two Oystercatchers this morning on the hardstanding along Taylor Road/adjacent to the north-west of Asda. Presumably the same pair seen at the Soccerdome recently.
Two Raven flew east over the Barton Bridge at just over car roof height towards the Trafford Centre/Trafford Park at 17:58 today whilst sat in the customary stationary traffic.

Whilst cycling home from work this evening along Trafford Park Road at 10.10pm I noticed something feeding under the street light a bit further ahead of me, thinking it was most likely a bat to my surprise it was in fact a wheatear (female) catching moths, it landed on a sign just below the light looked at me made a couple of tacking calls & flew off into the yard beyond the sign.

At the site of Event City, from the bus as we passed at half six, 60+ black-headed gulls plus 20+ lesser black-backs and at least two herring gulls. As we passed Fives earlier on there were three-figure numbers of black-headed gulls and a couple of dozen lesser black-backs plus more of both flying about.
1 x Mediterranean Gull and 3 x Oystercatcher this a.m at Fives Trafford. Also yesterday a.m 3 x Oystercatcher.
There were no Mediterranean Gulls present there this morning at 6:03 but 120 Black-headed Gulls and a dozen or so Herring and Lesser Black-backed Gulls including a fresh juvenile of the latter.
Mediterranean Gull 5 (4 ad & 1st sum) opposite Fives Trafford this morning. No doubt accounts for the 3 ad at Eccles WTP and 1 ad at Langland Waterside later.
