I might take you up on that. Manchester RSPB arrange car trips out and we always seem to end up at Marbury or Pennington. I don't really know the Wigan Flashes well, apart from twitching the River Warbler several years ago, so it would be useful to suss out a new location.


I'm tied up the next few weekends on CAWOS wintering bird atlas duties but maybe early Feb ?

i consider myself very lucky to live within 10 minute,s walk of the wigan flashes area so if anybody want,s a look see (or just directions)and some company we could arrange a patch swap(sundays only in winter)
