RE: Pennington 04/01

08.30 - 10.30

The only things I can add to that Ian are ;

single Oystercatcher
11 Goosander
5 f. Goldeneye
a pair of Mute Swans displaying to one another !
2 of the Cormorants resplendent with white `breeding patches`.
the feral / escapee Lesser Canada Goose

Yes it was quiet, yes I`m scraping the barrel

All's quiet on the western front!

A drake Pintail basically flew through Pennington today, heading west around 12:35

Best I could muster I'm afraid, it's not the most productive period I've ever seen in the county at the moment, although with Smew, Scaup and 2 Great Northern Divers we shouldn't complain too much, just get out there looking more I suppose!
