Out in between the rain. 22 birds, usuals plus Little Egret , Grey Wagtail and extremely lucky Dipper which was seconds away from a Sparrowhawks dinner which just missed it as it stormed a few meters above the river.
24 birds 2 short of the dog walk record. 2 Sand Martins collecting mud , 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Lapwing, nuthatch, Grey Wagtail , Goldcrest, 3 Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Buzzard being mobbed and alot of Greenfinch at the moment.
21 species this morning and a few nice ones.2 Little Egret, kingfisher, Grey Wagtail, 20 + Redwing on the feilds, Song and Mistle Thrush, Buzzard getting mithered by jackdaws , Goosander pair on canal, treecreeper and good tit flock including goldcrest and long tailed tits.
