GMLRC are also supporting this structured survey. By adopting a survey square and submitting your survey results you'll also ensure your data is instantly available to GMEU, GMBRG and Partners like the Wildlife Trust. The gmlrc.org website is being used for data entry and reporting. If you already have an account you can use that existing account to take part in this survey.

Please share this opportunity far and wide! We are working with Greater Manchester Ecology Unit and Lancashire Wildlife Trust on this project to look at the willow tit population in the North West region and understand barriers to dispersal along the Mersey Valley.

TCV are recruiting volunteers to survey for willow tits along the Mersey Valley in Manchester, Trafford and Stockport to help with the conservation of this threatened species. To find out more please read the attached background to the project!
