Yes very sad  He will always be clear in our memories ,and a great friend to all of us ,there are many great Charlie stories to tell to keep his memory alive RIP old friend you will never be forgotten.

Very sad Dave. A true gentleman and a great naturalist as well as birder. He leaves behind a great legacy though people might not quite realise just how big.

It is with great sadness that Charlie Owen has passed away. A founder member of L.O.S. and an active conservationist all his life. R.I.P. Charlie.
