A breeding male Peregrine born in 2018 bred this year in Manchester City Centre before sustaining a small break in his upper wing which resulted in him being taken into care at Wild Wings at Risley 9th April (information on this incident posted in the City Centre Perergrines thread on this forum). He was about to be released, having made an excellent recovery and flying well, when he escaped accidentally on the afternoon of the 26th May.
He is equipped with a Darvic ring with the code VR on it and has previously been seen at a few other sites in the county (including at Audenshaw Reservoirs) and was born at a location in the west of the county, so he could well turn up anywhere.
Wild Wings would appreciate any sightings of him to be sent to them at enquiries@wild-wings.net.
