We have a pair of what is one of my favourite sub-£500 Binoculars on sale, the Kowa 8x42 BD II XDs. They are a mint pair, taken out only twice and on sale due to health reasons. The close focus is what I love, being able to focus on my toes which is a massive advantage when out looking at insects.
