Overwintering Chiffchaff in the garden this afternoon with its pals , it should be in Africa really as its mainly a Summer visitor but a few overwinter locally, also Long Tailed Tits, and the resident Grey Wagtail today which is not bad in central Warrington

Female Sparrowhawk crashed into the garden , but didn't take anything today, 3 Blackbird, 2 Coal Tits, and the resident Grey Wagtail in also today along with 8 Long Tailed Tits that passed through .

Just had a wintering Chiffchaff in the garden ,shot is just a record shot ,but not a bad bird for the centre of Warrington in the middle of Winter .

The Resident Grey Wagtail is still in the garden round the pond each day, and  28 Siskin flew circled  over and almost landed  before a Magpie flushed them and they flew towards Bank Park

We have a resident Grey Wagtail round our pond the last few weeks , who would have thought that in Central Warrington 20 years ago 

Here a picture of it on our Frozen pond
