Late update for yesterday

Sparrowhawk was added during the day.

I was looking at twitter yesterday evening and noticed a few comments about Redwings being heard going over during dark so decided to go out and have a listen.

heard Redwing but then shortly after had a very noisy flock of Common Scoter go over this was at 20:58

I sat in the back garden until 10.30

7 groups of Common Scoter passed over along with 3 Redwings, Carrion Crow and a Golden plover all heard going over in darkness.

Great experience

Just had a Raven go over my house in Whitefield cronking.

Not the best garden for bird watching here and list this week is only 24.

However yesterday 4 Jays flew over, Green Woodpecker could be heard yaffling from Springwater park way. Meadow pipits have passed over yesterday and today and had visits from a pair of Grey Wagtails.
