Up to 26 now with Canada Goose and Mallard - presumably moving between Fog Lane Park and Platt Fields?

I did have a listen last night for Common Scoter - apparently a lot crossing the country at the moment and folks are detecting their calls - look for #NocMig on Twitter

Pretty predictable garden birds.

Male and female Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Nuthatch, Collared Dove and Robin all on feeders (some more successful than others). Had Bullfinch in the Winter but they seem to have moved on.

Blackbird, Woodpigeon and Dunnock picking up scraps from the feeder feeders.

Long-tailed Tit, House Sparrow, Magpie and Carrion Crow in the treetops.

Ring-necked Parakeets over dawn and dusk - presumably commuting to Platt Fields or Fog Lane Park.

Jackdaw, Feral Pigeon and various gulls over.

Blackcap should be back soon. Not expecting much else, we sometimes get Sparrowhawk and overflying Canada Geese and Mallards.
