No problem Pete, I'm mad on 'doing' my inverts during the good weather and get a bit sad when they get fewer and fewer as autumn and winter draw in. Nice that some, like Winter Moth, drag on into the bleaker months smile

Thanks Paul,never thought of flightless moths,assumed it was some kind of shieldbug or similar .I'll let my daughter know.

Can anyone I.d. this creature my daughter photographed on her car tyre a couple months ago .
