Chris thank you for the heads up on this talk, it was a truly inspirational evening , Mark Cocker was in top form and gave us all a lot to think about , his book Our Place is not one of his normal books , its one that tackles the environment etc and the charities that are associated with nature  and how we view things as  Green Belts and Brown Belts , really interesting evening .

I can Highly recommend his others books but will say all birders should read Birders Tale of a Tribe ..
