Adlington

Late post for Adlington land fill site last Sunday, little egret flying over the fishing lakes before heading in the direction of Wigan lane. Dead redwing on the pavement along Wigan lane ( looked like it had been hit by a vehicle but not a mark on it).

Delivering to a customer in Adlington on Wednesday and I noticed the House Martins have finally gone, nests and all, from the eaves of a house where I normally park before delivering.
There was 2 nests there last week, and couple of the birds flying round, the week before they were actually still going to the nest, in late September!
