Could not find a county garden bird thread for Merseyside, so I have opened this one.  Hope that is OK?  After over a year of hanging Nyger seed in my partners garden in Walton, Liverpool, this easter weekend we finally viewed our first (pair) of Goldfinches.  Plenty spotted on the feeders in my Leigh back yard, but a first for the one in Walton
