RE: Help for an older gent

Thanks very much indeed Dave, it'll be the same person but it's great that you've offered, not least as having seen your previous night's month catch myself I know how interesting it can be, even to non-moth types like myself!

Ive had a similar request from Bedford Care Home, Ian - possibly the same person. Ive promised to see him later in Spring, talk butterflies and birds, and show him some moths from the previous nights catch!

Social care worker Amanda Thomas is currently supporting an older gent in the Leigh area who loves butterflies but cannot get out like he used to and has requested if anyone out there is interested in volunteering some of their time to go along and see the gent to share their passion for butterflies with either images or sightings he would love to share your knowledge and experience.

If anyone can assist with this request or indeed any local groups who Amanda could speak to about it could they please contact me in the first instance and I'll put you in touch with her.

Cheers, Ian
