The Leica's are now sold.

I'll knock another £25 off the Nikons if that will encourage anyone to have a look.

Cheers

Right, after much consideration and heart wrenching, I have decided I need to get rid of some optics. I'm selling as I have three pairs of binoculars and these two just sit in the cupboard doing nothing. I cannot use three pairs so I'm going to let these go:

Leica 10x42 BA. Recently cleaned and re-armoured by Leica. These binoculars were and still are superb. They are built like a tank and would withstand knocks with ease. Optically they are excellent. There are no scratches on the glass and the focus works as well as the day they were bought. They come with the original box, case, neck strap and rainguard plus a newer neoprene strap. These were my first serious binocular and I'm still reluctant to let them go, but needs must. I am asking £550.

The second pair are Nikon 8x32 HGs. These are the original model not the 'Light' version with the L suffix. These were once touted as the best 8x32 you could buy by some (https://www.cloudynights.com/BVD/Venturer-LX-32s.php venturer is the American name for the model) and competed with the 8x32 Leica BA. The focus mechanism on these binoculars is simply brilliant and close focus is down to 2m or less. They do show some wear on the rubber armouring and the rubber eyecups, although the latter can be replaced quite easily. The optics are clear and unmarked. Again these come with the original box, case, strap and rainguard. These were originally a binocular costing near the £1000 mark and are a quality bit of kit so I'm asking £375.

Any buyer is more than welcome to check them out before they buy. If you are interested please send me a PM.
