You can read up on the technical data by searching the internet but the reason I bought this specific bridge camera over the other models at the time was its relatively compact size, weight (600g) and the Dotsight framing assist. It sounds gimicy but having effectively a set of cross hairs to use (rather than tracking a bird on the 3" screen) is very easy. Especially good for birds in flight.

As with all bridge cameras it has its limitations, end of zoom image quality for one, so don't expect DSLR image quality. I used it for record shots (some of which are on my posts) but I've recently moved over to an iphone and scope adaptor.
