Hi Simon,

Thanks for your below possible 'tip-off'. The park behind Whitefield Tram Station is called Whitefield Park. I checked it out this morning (09:30 - 12:30 hrs). I could not resist another possible GM tick for a Hawfinch! Sadly - I could not see any Hawfinch. But there was still a nice selection of birds to be seen including:

Willow Tit x 1
Greenfinch x 1
Redwing x 3
Mistle Thrush x 1
Bullfinch x 2 (1M and 1F)
Long-Tailed Tit x 3
Goldfinch x 5
Chaffinch x 4
Woodpigeon x 3
Blackbird x 7
Robin x 3
Great Tit x 5
Blue Tit x 3
Magpie x 5
Carrion Crow x 1
Black-Headed Gull x 7
Feral Pigeon x 15

a possible 6-8 Hawfinch flew over the Whitefield MET stop this morning and into the park behind (Not sure of its name)

I thought I could hear the tic call but as I didn't have any bins I am a bit reluctant to say 100% but that park might be worth a look if anyone is in the area
