I think Norman is right there, Houghton Green which is in the Warrington locale, not Greater Manchester.

Been working in manchester recently and noticed a decent amount of water next to the slip road from the M62 onto the M6 heading north , there is always plenty of ducks on the water and looks good for waders the water looks close to a main road ( poss A49 ) just wondered if anybody as every checked it ? .
