Cyrus Ainsworth Nurseries, Elton Vale, Walshaw, Bury

Hi this whole open area east of Walshaw incorporating the area around Bolholt and Parkers Lodges is about to be taken out of the Greenbelt to allow its development for housing etc. In the centre is the Site of Biological Importance which contains the disused parts of the nursery (it may all be disused now), and the old filter beds and lagoons, and the north bank of Parkers. Now many years ago I was taken to see the bird-ringing group in action in the shrubs there in the nurseries. I am pretty sure their records contributed to the designation of the SBI though I have not read the citation. Can anyone let me see an updated bird list for basically any open area east of Walshaw down to Elton please?. I am doing this on a voluntary basis btw. Just doing my bit for my home town's (Bury's) wildlife, as I have been doing since . Thank you. xxxx@davebentleyecology.co.uk
