RE: Scopac vs Visionary Viewpack

At last the delivery of the Mulepacks, for carrying your tripod with your scope attached, have arrived at Focalpoint. They are of the same design as the original ones but we are assured that they are sturdier, with stronger thread & better sewn seams. There has been no price rise so RRP is £62 (discount for Forum Members). We had a delivery of 12 but they are going out fast and we are into single figures now. Please call 01925 730399 if you want to check stock levels or to reserve one, cheers smile

fwiw I use a Cley Spy Mule Pack and find it more comfortable than my old scope pack.
Additionally the Mule Pack has a chest strap which connects the shoulder straps with a quick release buckle and is intended to (I think) share the weight of the pack/scope/tripod evenly.

You were right in that they went out of production whilst the new supplier sorted out getting the new ones spot on. Production is going full pelt & delivery should be soon. Of course I'll let you know the instant they arrive Tim smile

In my opinion Tim the best on the market is the Mulepack. Made by our rivals Cley Spy it is made in the UK, double hemmed & I think the strongest construction & best design. It has a removable pocket section which has a connectable strap to form a bag! They are just back in construction after a change in supplier. Luckily Cley Spy & ourselves co-operate & we sell them on their behalf in the NW so folk can see before they buy. We should have lots of new stock later this month so pop out & have a look, Tim. Forum members discount as always, and I know you are a loyal customer so I'll try to dig out some freebies for you too smile

Cheers Paul can you PM me when they are in? I hadn't mentioned the Mulepack as they seemed to be no longer made so good news there is a third choice.

Take 2! I'm looking at buying either Scopac Plus or Visionary Viewpack as my back is complaining toting a scope around dangling off one shoulder - even with my Mighty Midget. Any advice on which is the best option?

I would also be interested in the answers here as I am after one of these as a Christmas present!!
