I'm enquiring if anyone has any recommendations for photo editing software please that will give me full control over my pictures including temperature, gamma etc. that's either at an affordable price or free. There are so many out there and most aint very good (to put it mildly). The editing software i currently had came with my full X-s1 and will not allow me to use other camera brands, hence the need! Many thanks for any help and will always be appreciated.

Not sure about on a pc for editing, but on my android tablet, I use

Nick if you go back to the Manchester Birding website Homepage and click on the County Birding sites page there's over 30 different sites in Greater Manchester on this page and some have information about the sites and what you'll see there.

Hi Nick, I'm from Leigh and would recommend Pennington Flash, 50 minute bus journey from Manchester to Leigh and a 10 to 15 minute walk from Bus station to the flash. One of the best sites in the North West, 8 different hides, you could spend most of the day here if you choose to walk the entire site. Well over 200 species seen here over the years, and absolutely free!
