The Leica Duovid twin magnification, 8 & 12x42 Binoculars have been reduced a final time in the Manager's Specials Cabinet. The RRP was £2130, we have had them at £1605 for the last few months and now the final reduction is down to ONLY £1550. This is a real bargain and they must go at this price, they will not be reduced further. Ring 01925 730399 as usual to check availability
Also now into the cabinet as a new item are some lovely Leica compacts, the 10x25 Silverline binoculars, these have an RRP of £680 and we now have them on offer at ONLY £549.
The third Leica addition to the cabinet are a pair of classy Leather Ultravids, the 8x42 BL Ultravid Binoculars, they were RRP £1480 and now we have them on offer at ONLY £1199.
Now is the time to get yourself a smart pair of Leicas from these on offer. There is only one pair of each, so when they are sold that is it, no more at these prices.
The Opticron 8x32 Imagic Binoculars from the Sale Cabinet are now sold as are the Kowa SF 6x30 Porroprisms. I did put 2 more pairs of Hawke Binoculars in last week but they sold before I had a chance to advertise them on here, as both were 10x I think they wouldn't have been of wide interest on here though. The stock has changed so much recently that I will be putting a few more bits into the cabinet and creating a new list.

Only one pair now left of the Hawke Frontier 8x32 ED Binoculars, these are stunning and at £149 are one of the best offers ever in the Manager's Specials Cabinet!!
An interesting addition to the Manager's Specials cabinet today, a piece of kit that would be invaluable in your glovebox of your car of a pocket when out cycling. Something with a tiny bit more magnification to help ID that occasional flyover when you're not expecting it!
It is the Opticron Viva Compact Binocular 10x25. This is a reverse porroprism type design and is an older model hence the sale. The RRP would normally be £69 but the one we have left is on sale at only £40. At this price if would also do as a first binocular for a younger person and I doubt if it will stay with us for long, so if you are interested just give me a call on the usual number (01925730339) during work hours
I am here today (Saturday ) 10am-4pm and then we are open Mon-Fri 9.30am-4.30pm (Winter Opening Hours now!)

A new make & model added to the Manager's Specials today.
If you prefer porroprism binoculars to roof prism then why not have a look at the impressive little Kowa YF6x30 Porros? These waterproof, smaller sized binoculars have a limited lifetime warranty and are ideal as a pair of bins for travelling. They are exceptionally bright and the 8x in this range won the Best Binocular in its class in 2013 when they were launched see the review for the 8x30s here: http://www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Kowa8x30YF-100.htm .
Definitely worth having a look at they have an RRP of £129 but our Sale Price is only £99, so for less that a hundred pounds you could have a superb, high optical quality binocular which I am sure will never let you down

The latest addition to the 'Specials' cabinet are a pair of Hawke 10x42 Nature Trek Open-Hinge (in green) Binoculars. They are brand new, in fact just taken off the shelf in the back office, and should retail at £149. We have this single pair on offer for only £92
Just added to the 'Specials' Sale Cabinet are the Leica 8 + 12 x 42 Duovid Binoculars, at only £1605 down from an RRP of £2130. See my separate posting for more details
The next binoculars in the cabinet are something I expect to fly out, so be quick off the mark
They are the 8x32 version of the ones that we just sold, the Opticron 8x32 Imagic BGA SE. As before these are made in Japan, are fully waterproof and have a 30 Year warranty. They had an RRP of £429 and we have this pair on offer at only £359
Call in or phone on 01925 730399 to reserve them, Opening hours 9.30am-5pm (Mon-Fri), 10am-4pm (Sat), Closed Sundays & Bank Hols.
The Opticron 10x42 Imagics have been sold, with the optics being exactly the same as the Verano HDs and at a silly price I am not surprised. I will be adding at least one more binocular now that there is space in the cabinet again, so watch this space
Again with spaces in the Sale cabinet I had to look around to fill them. The following two binoculars have been added at the lowest price we have ever done. There is only ne pair of each available, they are new and boxed with all accessories and full warranty.
Opticron 10x42 Imagic BGA SE Binoculars, fully waterproof Roof Prisms, made in Japan and with a huge 30 year warranty (more than Zeiss, Swarovski or Leica give these days!!). These Binoculars have an RRP of £449, we have this pair on special off at only £369.
Opticron 8x42 Natura BGA Binoculars, waterproof and made in Japan, they too have a full 30 year warranty, the RRP is £249 and our special offer price is only £195
Call in or phone on 01925 730399 to reserve them, Opening hours 9.30am-5pm (Mon-Fri), 10am-4pm (Sat), Closed Sundays & Bank Hols.
I've just added two fabulous binoculars to the Manager's Specials cabinet as recent sales had left it looking a bit bare!
These are a model that has been discontinued but we got the chance to take one of each size in to allow us to sell them at a big discount, someone will get a real bargain!!
The models in question are Hawke Panorama ED Binoculars, which were the flagship binocular in the Hawke range, being the highest priced model that they produced. We have been able to buy a pair of each size o that we can discount each binocular by around £150 so giving birders a chance to own a 'mid range' binocular at a 'low range' price
The details are as follows:
Hawke Panorama 8.5x42 ED Binoculars was £539.95, NOW £399
Hawke Panorama 10x42 ED Binoculars was £549.95, NOW £399
Only one pair of each is available, so as always it's first come, first served I look forward to seeing Forum Members as always and I would recommend a phonecall before coming out to make sure that the binocular that you are interested in is still in stock, as usual
The first of those models to be added are the Pentax 10x25 UCF X II compact binoculars. These are a ruggedly built reverse porroprism compact and handy for the car or pocket if you don't want to take the bulk and weight of a full sized pair out with you.
Since the 'Specials' cabinet is looking a little bare at the moment I will be adding a few models to it as part of an upcoming early Summer Sale. I will post the fully updated list on here very soon
After tidying the stock shelves in the back we found that we had a second pair of a binocular we had just sold. So a return to the Manager's Specials cabinet for:
Viking 8x21 Traveller Compact Binoculars: was £30 now £20
A great little, inexpensive choice, especially for kids or as a pair to keep handy in the car at all times, but this really is the last pair...............
I have added the following, we have had them on sale before but this will be the last one ever of a discontinued model that I still consider to be Opticron's best ever binocular:
