Nice to chat with Rob - a local dog walker - who has seen some good sightings in this area. These included a surprise Sparrowhawk sighting flying above Worsley Brook (I won't tell the full story Rob!)

I've noticed this a number of times with Carrion Crows on Irlam & Barton Mosses (not that far from Winton as the crow flies!). I don't know if it's a local thing or not as I don't recall seeing this in crows elsewhere.
