Hi Steve

I've noticed this a number of times with Carrion Crows on Irlam & Barton Mosses (not that far from Winton as the crow flies!). I don't know if it's a local thing or not as I don't recall seeing this in crows elsewhere.

Heavy rain during dog walk - so left binoculars at home and did naked eye watch (still good though!!!)

Lesser Black Backed Gulls x 2
Black Headed Gull x 1

House Sparrows
Starlings x 50 (with many juveniles)
