Paul,

It's not a sign of things to come if Stockport RSPB is anything to go by. It's been bursting at the seams the last few meetings. If we attract some of the Manchester folk it'll be standing room only.

James - I'm not sure who you wrote to, but Peter W and Sheila R have both been ill recently.

Every newsletter we appealed for volunteers or committee members, but there was very little interest, so the group unfortunately had to fold.

Stockport RSPB have now assumed responsibility for the South Manchester postcodes, and I think maybe Bolton might take up the North

Peter Wolstenholme was a great inspiration to me as a kid and helped to build a life long interest in birds, my late Grandfather was secretary of the group, a shame to see its demise.

I wrote to the RSPB Manchester Group to say that I was up for supporting the continuation of the group but didn't even receive a reply confuse

That is a real shame. I go to the Bolton group and I really enjoy the talks. The Speakers teasing us with new areas to dream about visiting. And I also like and enjoy all the birding trips. Its very sad that the manchester group is closing cry
