Yesterday I received a text from a friend asking me for help to identify a bird that was in their Offerton garden on woodlands drive near to the cricket club, it was clearly a Woodcock in the middle of the day. I thought I would share this sighting but also wondered if anybody else had ever seen one before in this area?
