RE: Cutacre Country Park (Other wildlife)

Afternoon visit

Butterflies :- Comma, Tortoiseshell & Cabbage White.

Dragonflies :- M & F Common Darter, plenty of Emperors with two on the wing mating.

Also an unidentified long grey mammal about the size of a small cat that ran across the path in front of me disappearing into grass.

Weasel this evening, in the exact same area as previous stoat sightings. If it wasn't for a good view of the tail, I would have probably assumed it was a stoat. It did get me thinking of whether these species can coexist, or whether one will force the other out.

Have seen Stoat in 2 different locations this year but today's sighting was some way away.

Stoat across the path this evening - had no idea that they had been seen before at the site, or that they were even present in this part of GM!
