I wanted to get out for the day today for some rigorous walking exercise, so I chose this area as it was the least likely area to avoid any showers.
Dry all day, seen several interesting things along the way too, but, unfortunately I'd forgotten my notepad so I don't have a species count this time.
Highlights include;
Goosander Dipper Grey wagtail Tawny owl - grey phase, partly concealed (thanks to the hint from a blackbird (like the saying "a little bird told me") Blackcap Pied flycatcher Stock dove Song thrush Mistle thrush with young Treecreeper paused for a rest for a good 10 minutes (lighting wasn't the best though for pictures) Nuthatch
Ta!
