We live 5 miles from Rochdale town centre by road and I have just snapped this birdie, through a window, on a fence in our back garden. (Easter Monday 17th April @ 7:15pm). My question, (embarrassingly), is this a Peregrine Falcon and if it is ... could it be from Rochdale Town Hall? I cannot see any rings on either of its legs.

Hi Ian Thanks for the reply. I just wondered if there was anyone watching what they were up to. There are a lot of pere nests that get high coverage all over UK... except Rochdale that is

Hi there, I don't know who mans the forum boards but we went down to the town hall again today with the scope and mum was definitely feeding in the nestbox. Is there any info about these fab birds as I would love to follow them a little more :)
