Lovely warm & sunny day but still struggling to find many insects. Like all my school reports said, must do better !

Numerous Green-veined Whites
1 Orange Tip
1 Peacock
1 Speckled Wood
A few Large Red Damselflies (still the only Odonata species I have seen this year)
A few Common Heath moths
The only Bumblebees I saw today were Carder Bees, which is rather worrying.

Stunning views of a Pipistrelle down Two Brooks Lane at lunchtime. Fluttering about just above head height, close enough to even to see it have a c**p.

Butterflies around at last, Small Tortoiseshells, Peacocks, Orange Tips, and a Small White.

A few Buff-tailed Bumblebees and a Common Carder-bee.
